Why we exist
Women Climbing Alaska connects women through climbing, shared learning, and care for the places we climb. We bring climbers together to build lasting partnerships, develop their skills, and put down roots in Alaska’s climbing community.
Find people to share your next climb. Gear swaps, gym nights, and crag days bring women together to meet partners, trade local knowledge, and build friendships that last beyond a day outside.
Build the skills to take your climbing further. Our education focus includes anchors, rescue, avalanche awareness, and glacier travel. Check the events calendar for confirmed clinics and learning opportunities.
Help care for the places that bring us together. Through stewardship and responsible climbing practices, we work toward healthy crags, lasting access, and a climbing community that gives back.

Art and merch
L. Falley’s drawings capture the movement, exposure, and quiet moments of climbing. Bring a piece of that experience home with WCA shirts, stickers, and prints.

Nonprofit status
WCA has filed its 501(c)(3) application with the IRS and is awaiting a determination. Online donations are not yet open.
