About
Built by climbers who stayed.
A volunteer working board and a growing statewide community. Not a gym, not a guiding company.
Mission
Why we exist
Women Climbing Alaska builds a skilled, welcoming community of women climbers across the state — through meet-ups, education, and service. The point is simple: make Alaska a place climbers want to stay.

Vision
Where this goes
An Alaska where women climbers find partners, mentors, and reasons to stay. Strong local scenes. Healthy crags. A culture of looking after each other and the land.

People
The working board
The working board is forming now. Names, roles, and regions will be listed here once it is seated — we are not going to invent a roster in the meantime.
Interested in a board seat, or in helping without one? Write to us.
Rebates
Climbing rebates
We are lining up climbing rebates for members — gyms, gear, and related perks. Details land here as partnerships are confirmed. If you run a gym or shop and want to back Alaska women climbers, get in touch.
Nonprofit status
501(c)(3) pending
Our 501(c)(3) application is filed with the IRS. We expect a determination around March.
Until it lands there is no donate button and nothing for sale online. We would rather wait than take money we cannot receipt properly. If you want to help now: come to a meet-up, staff a table, or teach something.
