Winter Women’s Weekend

Portage Glacier Lodge, Portage

Join other women in Portage for a long weekend of winter learning and connection. Limited to 30 attendees. The avalanche course is optional, and registered attendees can join the evening slideshows without taking the course.

  • The $50 attendance fee also applies if you stay elsewhere and come for the evening slideshows or mobile sauna. The sauna is for registered attendees only.
  • The lodge kitchen is available for personal use. Camping and RV options are also available throughout Portage.
  • To sign up, visit ChugachSkiGuides.com and choose “Women’s Weekend in Portage.”

The future of climbing depends on how we care for the places we visit. WCA follows Leave No Trace principles and is developing stewardship days where climbers can contribute together.
